What is a Hydrafacial like?

A Hydrafacial at Granite Bay Cosmetic Surgery is a full 1 hour and 15 minute experience, and covers both the neck and décolletage in addition to the face. During your facial, the Hydrafacial wand produces a continuous jet of water (a.k.a. “vortex fusion”), which gently but powerfully removes dead skin cells and dirt from the surface, flushes out pores, and cleanses deep beneath the surface (think power-washing your skin). We’ll then infuse the customized serum that’s best for your skin type and goals.
Hydrafacial: Step-by-step
Here’s everything that the Hydrafacial includes:

- Glycolic peel

Is Hydrafacial safe for my skin?
Hydrafacial is a safe face, neck and chest treatment. In fact, Hydrafacial may be a great option if you are not good a candidate for lasers or peels—you just might need a few more sessions to achieve similar improvements to the more aggressive treatments.
All that said, certain skin conditions may preclude you from being a good candidate, at least temporarily. Additionally, it is important to be honest and open about your medical history, including allergies, to ensure the serum we choose will be safe and effective for you.
