Microneedling + PRP for Faster, More Dramatic Results
We can take microneedling even further with platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Platelets are components of blood that are packed with proteins and other nutrients called “growth factors,” which play a key role in collagen production, tissue repair, and cell turnover.
For PRP therapy, we take a small sample of blood from your arm and process it to separate out the platelets and plasma, creating a “platelet-rich plasma” with a super high concentration of growth factors. This PRP is then applied to the skin during a microneedling treatment to amplify natural skin regeneration and speed the onset of results.
Microneedling provides the perfect environment for PRP to absorb into the skin for maximum effectiveness. Including PRP in your microneedling session adds only 15 to 30 minutes to overall treatment time and can make a noticeable difference in how quickly you see results.
