What is Alma TED Hair Restoration?
Alma TED (TED stands for Transepidermal Delivery) is one of the most advanced solutions for treating hair loss and promoting optimal scalp and hair health for men and women.
How Does Alma TED Hair Restoration Work?
Alma TED is an ultrasound-based system that uses low-frequency “ultrasonic” acoustic sound wave technology, which allows the specially-formulated TED+ hair growth serum to penetrate the skin and reach the hair follicles directly. It also stimulates increased blood flow to the hair follicles, encouraging healthier and thicker hair growth.
Scalp photos are used to determine the health and number of existing hair follicles throughout the treatment process. Notice the hair strands in the photo on the right are thicker and more abundant than in the baseline photo on the left.

Your Hair Restoration Procedure
You will begin the process with a thorough consultation. Once we assess your scalp health and hair loss concerns and take some baseline photos, the treatment process can begin:
Step 1: Scalp preparation. We maneuver the hand-held TED device around your head to prime your scalp.
Step 2: Serum application. The TED+ hair care formula is then applied evenly to your scalp.
Step 3: Integration. The device is then reapplied to the scalp to help the serum reach the dermis layer of your scalp.
Each Alma TED hair restoration treatment takes approximately 45 minutes. There is minimal downtime after your treatment; we simply ask you not to wash your hair or sweat for 24 hours following treatment and do not color your hair for one week prior to and after treatment.
You’ll receive six consecutive treatments scheduled four weeks apart. We will document your journey along the way to monitor your hair growth and determine if you need additional treatments.
